Swap Vista Default Using Vistalizator

Need to change the factory-installed language setting? Can’t? YOU CAN NOW! .. using Vistalizator and any language packs you prefer.

So you bought a new PC somewhere where the native language isn’t English, maybe in Spain like me.

.. and when you kick the thing up, the interface is foreign.

“Hey, no problem,” so you navigate your way through the Control Panel (and the dictionary) to the bit where it says to change the language, idioma, whatever.

Nothing. No worries, quick reboot ..

Er, “hablas espanol?” Heck. Maybe I could start swearing in ‘spanol.

So you Google it, and everyone says, “Just change the language setting” or “Try a re-install.” The more savvy users may playfully suggest, “Linux?”

Basically, balls!

Oh, or you could shell out for a multi-language pack. But, damn, didn’t I already pay for Windows and, BTW, I never wanted the damn thing bundled with this PC anyhow.

HERE IS WHAT YOU DO.

Get Vistalizator from http://www.froggie.sk, together with whatever language packs you need (MUI or LIP) and follow their simple instructions.

And bugger those shysters at Windows, (IMHO).

Rant over.
