'Home' - YouTube's Eco Movie PR Stunt

[Insert Dire Prediction of Pending Doom Here]

website file structure image

Another great "we're all going to die but let's pay loads more tax first" kind of a movie. YouTube is the ultimate propaganda maquina. I love it!

YouTube's a great platform for platitudes, we all know that. Along with the wider web 2.0 generation, it helped win Obama his election, and lose McCain his.

And there've been some more creative, more important uses too, such as with Peter Joseph's brilliant Zeitgeist - arguably the mother of modern conspiracy movies, (however accurate it may or mayn't be.)

Now the eco movement - or is that the banker carbon tax NWO movement? - is at it, using YouTube to penetrate young minds with a different kind of pollution .. propaganda.

But hey, let's not get political here, that's not the jurisdiction of this site.

Let me just say, I don't know what to believe about global warming, and whether 'the blame' lies with planetary or solar cycles, humankind generally, Heinz baked beanz or nobel-prize-winning eco-warblers cruising about in their privately charted jets.

But I do know a nice bit of entertainment when I see it, some cracking video encoding and some of the best online PR since Radiohead released that free album on iTunes.

So here it is, but available on YouTube only till June 14th, so after that the embed won't work...

But really, you should check it out here, where it really lives. And read the comments; as is oft the case, they're arguably of a higher quality.

Happy Fridays, (OK, yeah, it's Thursday and I'm early this week) .. for now at least.

VPS BIBLE finishes next week. Hurrah! Then, lined up, the VPS Newbie Admin series. Damn ...
